“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
-Aristotle
If you need to do something and can do it right away – do it. That has been one of the best lessons in life for me. In my early twenties, I used to think I can do this or that “tomorrow”, until one incredibly intense boss taught me this lesson. Past three months have been the busiest and some of the most rewarding of my life. We have bought a house and have started preparing to move in. I plan on enjoying every minute of it. Including organizing and refining everything around the sacred few hobby moments.
The desk will be accompanied by a gorgeous 100 year old glass front book shelf in a perfect spot in the new home. It will display more of Vlka Fenryka, the XX Legion, The =I= Trilogy and carry to most holiest of tomes, such as the 2nd Edition Sisters Codex, The Inquisitor Rule book and John’s Inquisitorial sketch book.
My miniature production has taken a hit, but I am still day dreaming of finishing the Invitational on time! 🙂 (Don’t tell Mikko or Kari, but what little time I’ve had, I’ve been cheating on the invitational with the Rout.)
Happy Sunday!
Congrats on the house and the move – I’m moving my own family across the country in two months, so all of my recent hobby time is taken up by planning for the move. I’m hoping that very soon after we’re settled in our new home I can get back to actual hands-on painting and modelling.
